Mmmmm, sleet. Over an inch of sleet to be exact. I know, I know stop bitching there are places in PA and NY that are getting much, much, much more snow. I'm not complaining. Actually I'm the last one left at work, its nice and quiet, and beyond writing this down, I'm getting a bit done. I left my briefcase, however, on the landing at home and still have another entry from when I was in Memphis to drop in here. Other than that, nothing much is happening. Two books I've been involved with, both very good, are:
Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore... This is a funny, touching, and probably blasphemous book. Who cares, its a lot of fun and humanizes Christ in a way few modern writers have even thought about doing it. I'm almost done with it and have loved it.
The other is:
No One Thinks of Greenland by John Griesemer. This was a really good book. S didn't like it as much as I did but it had a nifty little love story, a handful of cool characters, some different ideas about reality, and some damn fine writing.
Ok, those were my six second reviews. Fantastic then! I'm going to finish up my work now and will write more when I can.
