Random Theories and Rantings

Well, I've recently received a complaint from the one person who reads this that I never update it. Looking at the date of my last post, I guess I have to admit that the criticism was warranted. Well, Lauren my dear I'll try harder. After weeks on the road and working 60 hours and weekends and killing myself for the company, I got laid off. Me bitter? Nah... what would ever give you that idea?

To be honest, it was all a pile of bullshit. The kind that Hemingway couldn't conjure up if he tried on his best day. In the period of three days I went from running my office to being ushered out the door. What a feeling!!

So I guess I am going to actually make an effort to write now. I might as well, I'd be an idiot not to. I figure I'll try to start with 30 minutes a day and see if it goes higher than that on its own merits.

On another note, I just bought Ryan Adams' Heartbreaker. An older selection of his, but very broody and good. Of course I like all of his stuff (though I prefer solo to his Whiskeytown days).
